Very rare matching group shots of the Customer Service Department and Streets "Distribution" Department shot at the same time in 1939 at the original 36th Street Base.

The three images above are from the same time frame and judging from the copper service pipe and kerosene lanterns in the first image they would be from shortly after WW II. It's certain that this is the second of three generations of bases built on the property. This base was built in 1947 and replaced the original 36th base on the location. Make sure you click on the storeroom images to get the larger version then click on that to get the full size image. There's a great deal of detail to look at in these images. Many thanks to my friend and major contributor on the site Bob Zaricor for these three images.
